[ARCHIVED] Goochland Fire-Rescue Company 6 Hadensville Wi-Fi Hotspot Offline for Maintenance

Goochland County - Goochland Area Wi-Fi Hotspot Outage - Station 6 - July 3 2021

Goochland County’s Goochland Fire-Rescue Station 6 – Hadensville Wi-Fi Hotspot is down and unavailable to provide access to the internet due to an equipment issue.

County staff are working to resolve the issue and restore service but anticipate the outage will last through the middle of next week.

The outage only affects the Wi-Fi Hotspot at:

  • Goochland Fire-Rescue Station 6 – Hadensville

In the interim community members can take advantage of Goochland Area Wi-Fi Hotspots at the following nearby locations:

  • Byrd Elementary School
  • County Line Baptist Church (GCPS DOGFI)
  • Second Union Baptist Church (GCPS DOGFI)
  • Goochland Fire-Rescue Station 4 – Fife
  • Central High Cultural and Educational Complex

The County and Goochland County Public Schools have developed external and select internal hotspot locations at county facilities and community locations county-wide to provide citizens with enhanced opportunities to access broadband internet.   This is a short-term strategy to provide access and fill a need while the county implements longer-term strategies.
