Pet Adoption Process
A All Dogs and puppies $90.00 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, all age appropriate vaccinations, parasite preventions, and a veterinary exam. All Cats and Kittens $75.00 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, Feline Aids and Leukemia test, all age appropriate vaccinations, parasite preventions, and a veterinary exam. With an Approved Adoption Application Adoption Requirements Dogs and cats must be either spayed or neutered within 30 days of adoption or reaching 6 months of age A Goochland County Dog License must be purchased for any dog over 4 months of age Dogs and cats must be vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian
Payment Options Card, Cash or Check. Checks should be made out to Goochland County Treasurer.
